Year 3

Welcome to Year 3

This year the class will be taught by Mrs McDonald and Mrs Hipgrave and assisted by Mrs Bowyer and Mrs Farmer.  We have lots of ideas for what the children can do and learn, so watch this page to find out more as the year progresses.

Here is the slideshow from our 'Meet the teachers' afternoon.

This a newsletter detailing how you can support your child in maths.

Happy New Year!

We have enjoyed our mini-topic on the 1940s.  The display in the corridor will show you some of the things we have been doing.

Our new topic of 'The Rainforest' will start soon- watch this space for exciting news about some very special visitors.

We are ready for an enjoyable and productive term ahead.

30th September 2017. We have started reading our new class book to introduce our Autumn term topic- Stone Age to Iron Age Britain.

29th September 2017.

We are working hard to practice performing our Harvest Festival for next week- Friday 6th October.  We were very lucky to have the composer of our festival-'Harvest Rock', Sheila Wilson, come in and teach us her songs.

Please join us to give thanks in the church on Friday.

James Mayhew, who wrote our class book, 'Katie and the Starry Night', visited. We loved how he drew and painted with his book upside down, whilst telling us stories.
